Medium and high voltage cable branch boxes, with their characteristics of full insulation, full sealing and full shielding, as well as simple, convenient and flexible connection methods, have become the preferred equipment in the cableization project of distribution networks. They save the investment in equipment and cables, improve the reliability of power supply, and reliably ensure personal safety.
Medium and high voltage cable branch boxes are divided into American-style cable branch boxes and European-style cable branch boxes according to their different structural forms.
- GB/T 11022: Common specifications for high-voltage alternating-current switchgear and controlgear standards.
- GB/T 3906: Alternating-current metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 3.6 kV and up to and including 40.5 kV
- GB/T 12706.4: Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1 kV (Um=1.2 kV) up to 35 kV (Um=40.5 kV).
